2 Months Backlog

Wow! It has been almost 3 months since I last updated my weblog here. It has been a long journey (although in just only a short 2-month-plus) and lots of topics are being ignored.

I guess the best excuse is blaming all other projects. From the projects at work, projects for some organisations to personal projects that have been multiplying and not to mention the issue of procastination.

The company I work for is finally emerged from Chapter 11 at the end of April. After 4 months of Year-End Reporting for 2009, we then had to work on another Year-End for the “old” company. We all seem to experience new terms in Finance which are quite interesting especially when we have to explain to our business partners about our situation etc.

Although surrounded by the issues with my present employer, I enjoyed my social life with my Sabahan family in Europe and friends, old and new. Sometime during my absence here, I was also appointed by the Malaysian Association of the Netherlands to be part of their present committee members. This was really an honour to me personally and to my people (from Sabah) generally.

Of course I had to move my plan (from doing it by ourselves, i.e. my family, friends and me) to the new Association I’m in. I guess there’s no harm of gaining from each other (in a positive way of course). We get support from the higher rank in this country from our home country and they get credit for the successful event held here. On behalf of my people, I’m so grateful and thanked Her Excellency for being the best hostest ever. I will tell you, my guest, more about this after I finish the first 2 important things-to-do before I move on. I know it’s only a shadow but you won’t let me tell you the whole picture, will you? Or else you won’t be coming to visit me again.

So, peeps. 3 big projects are done! Now, I guess it’s time to list down the to-do-list again. I start with only 2 (for now):

1. Organise my desk with all the documents and “stuff”
2. Organise the “stuff” in all machines (5 harddisks, internal and external)

The rest wait till I’m done.
