Winter Time in Autumn

It started last night here in Europe, the daylight saving time (DST) in which the DST summer time stopped. All manual clocks at home needed to move backward an hour and then it’s an extra hour to lie down in bed last night.

I used to love this winter’s DST but now it doesn’t mean anything to me apart from I’ve an hour extra time difference with my folks back home.

The weather started to get chillier before the autumn season began in September. I’ve to get my autumn jackets ready but lately I had to wear an extra cloth or a blazer so that I wouldn’t catch cold.

I had missed summer this year in this country. Last year I had several people visiting and stayed with us but that didn’t happen this year.

I’ve been back twice to my home country in July and September. All I remember is the chilly weather in Spring and now cold and wet weather in Autumn. A few months from now on, we’ll enter the really cold weather of the year again.

How time flies! I wish everyone is getting wiser each year.

  1. I’ve never seen the purpose of wintertime, and I still don’t know why it happens. Though this weekend it made me quite happy, because I honestly thought that the clock was going forward so I ended up with 2 more hours instead of one ;)

Well I agree the weather sucks in the Netherlands, though yesterday and today were some nice days, don’t your think?
