Blank
I am overflown with ideas but when I start to write, my mind is blank. How am I going to continue what I have already started when it does not want to work happily with me?
This seems to torture me all the time. When I’m in the bathroom, taking a hot shower or while I’m away without a pen and a paper.
At night, before going to bed, I visit my “sanctuary” (my little library also called study room) to sit down and look around. Then, I will browse the bookshelves and pick a book, randomly open a page and read its content. I’ll put it back and pick another one and do the same. Then I’ll carry one or two to my bedroom and try to read a paragraph or two or even pages. That’s when it’s not the story about a girl abducted by a gorgeous looking Highlander.
At these moments, I normally get loads and loads of ideas. But as it’s already time for bed, I’ll just switch off the reading light and start with a new journey for the night to dreamland.
Miracle Does Happen
It has been quiet for my so-called social life this week, although it does not count the hectic week at work with all the Management Committee Meetings going on between the Partners.
There have been invitations from various people for parties and dinners but I took the opportunity to stay quietly at home with DH. Taking the time to meditate, to fast and to pray for miracles is important to me. Although it is my motto to live life to the fullest, I do have a limit especially when it comes to some tragedy that happen to other people.
It is saddened to hear when your friend (although you have never met him/her) is sad and down due to family’s circumstances. In this case, my friend’s brother (K) is diagnosed to have a brain tumor. The week was gloomy and slow which already started last week for N and her family. Like N and her family, I was very upset with the doctors for not doing the necessary diagnose when K complained of his bad headache and his blury sight. 5 DOCTORS! And they all didn’t do their job well! Fortunately K did not give up but to fight very hard to get a test on his aching head and blury eyes-sight.
This was the result: they found out that a tumor (the size of an orange, IMAGINE THAT!) was growing in his brain. That was after all 5 doctors said nothing happened to K or his health. Everything seemed to go very fast for K, to get the parasite removed. He has undergone a brain surgery on the 24th and it was a success. K does not lost his memory and is now recovering. Praise The Lord for the miracle! And thank all Angels for being there for K.
I am in need of 2 more miracles if I’m allowed to have them. For now I will just have to think that everything will be OK, otherwise God has His reason if it’s not.
