My Lucky Plant

It is not MY plant but I took it from another desk in the office this is now removed from the office. I like this plant. My mom said it brings luck. So, I told all my colleagues that this plant will produce money on Christmas Day. See if someone comes on the first day of Christmas to pick the money. LOL

Oh, by the way, this is how I see when I look up from my PC in the office. Great, isn´t it?

Xmas Cards 2007

It is December 3rd already and I have yet to do anything with the Christmas Cards.

Last month, I had been debating whether to send out Xmas cards this year or not. For more than 5 years now, I have been writing and sending between 150 to 200 cards to all over the world.

In the Netherlands, most of the price of products and services have been increased, that includes the stamps. The price for Christmas stamps for this country is different than the normal stamps’ price to Europe or even to outside Europe, i.e. to America, Africa, Asia or Australia.

After about a month thinking, I finally made up my mind to do it as the prior years. I have already bought the cards and now looking forward how much I have to spend on stamps. But that’s ok. It is, after all, for Christmas. I can hardly kill this spirit and not making someone’s smile for getting my once-a-year hello. :/

Guess what, I even will send more this year because I have made more new friends. :) Isn’t it great?

p.s. So far I’ve received 2 cards from Australia, 3 from the States, 2 from UK… keep them coming pls… hahaha

The E-Newsletters

One of my email addresses is used to receive e-newsletters from online marketers. Not that I’m interested in making money online, but some of the ideas that sent to my inbox are not really nonsence. Of course after buying the how-to for about US$99 some months ago, I felt that I could use their advice on health, business, life, career, personal management, IT, finance, investors, etc.

Unfortunately this is just beginning of a nightmare especially when you don’t check this email for a month. Hundreds or even thousands of the unread emails to be read. So, how do I do that? Check the title… hmmm…

The marketers know when to sell and know when to get their prospect’s attention. What would you do if you see “How to end procastination forever?” Surely you would just pass your sister’s email and click this email. The annoying part is, instead of a long list of tips, the message was to ask you to click the link provided. I never get trapped into this crap anymore, just be smart, delete the email.
