Visit from Jessy Jetty and Alan Dunn

It’s public holiday today in Netherlands for Pinksterren or Whit Monday and I’m home updating my blog.

Satisfied Jessie and Alan, at a Castel in BelgiumJessie Jet, my internet Sabahan friend from America and her husband Alan came to the Netherlands. They stayed first at mami Molly’s house then A medieval game between 2 groups of knights. They were gorgeous!
went to Kak Mag’s place in Dusseldorf, Germany. Then came to our place for a night.

We showed them Rotterdam city and then the next day we brought them to a neighbour country for a medieval festival in a castle in Belgium. Alan enjoyed this kind of thing. He teaches German language in a University and he also speaks Dutch although he is an American.

After the whole trip, all of us satisfied. Wim enjoyed watching the medieval sport, knights in a shining armors in their big horses (unfortunately no white horses). Then there was the medieval market. While looking for food, we passed by a stall with a whole pig burned and ready on the table, so that they can slice the meat and serve. “Errr… no, thank you very much. I am fasting meat today.” We prefered something else without meat in it instead but cheese and stuff. How could you imagine, eating meat in front of that big COOKED PIG there???

Then, from Belgium, off we went straight away to Velserbroek, near Haarlem, to Molly and Danny’s house. They have already started having dinner but it’s OK, we were late because of the heavy traffic jam on the way too. All the family members were in the house, their grandma as well, neighbours and some other friends.

The nicest thing was, Jessie and Alan were surprised by a huge cake with candles to them.

Very nice meeting them and well… who says internet friends cannot be real friends?

Brunei songs

OMG… This is genius. I finally found Brunei songs in their Brunei language. This Boboi sounds like a small boy with his friend but they do sound so funny and so ‘comic’. I just can’t believe I have found their songs on internet and now I am enjoying them. The songs are:

Mummy minta seringgit (Mummy give $1)
Pak Mamat ada kebun (Mr Mamat has a garden)
Oh children-children (the direct translation of oh kanak-kanak, kanak-kanak MEANS children)
Kerita sport (sport car)
Komputerku (my computer)

Thank you Brunei fellow for sharing these numbers.
