Monthly Archives: October 2006
Fare thee well October
Yes! It has been a great month. My father’s birthday and my anniversary. Lovely…
And now I’m thinking of something else… or the knowledge that you’re never too old to have fun. Enjoy life to the fullest, everyone. You’ll never know what will happen tomorrow, just think about today first before you cry about the future.
Bottoms up!
Computer stretches
Nowadays, lots of people seem to complain about their backache, shoulder, wrist etc. The problem is these people have been constantly doing things without having a break in between. If you are working with computer 8 to 12 hours a day, make sure you take a break for at least 5 minutes for every half an hour. It does help.
Otherwise do some stretching…

Dancing De Hoeve

Wow! We had so much fun last night or shall I say this morning?
Solainge, Fanny, Mildian, Kari and I went to the discotheque in Spykenisse, the city where I live. This discotheque is marvelous. The party is held once a month and has a very good security, so, no worries about someone is going to shoot someone. There is no chance because … *sigh*… look at those gorgeous, big and tall guards, no way you can bring in a weapon. Free entrance for the ladies until 2400 hour but we managed even one minute late, 12.01am.
The place has 2 floors for the dance floors. After leaving our autumn jackets at the ground floor (for 50 Euro cents each jacket), we headed on to the first floor where the Salsa, Merengue, Raggae, Hip Hop and R&B songs were played. The second floor was for the 70s and 80s.

We danced whole heartedly
, but it was hot and we were sweating like crazy. I guess this is enough to burn some calories, isn’t it? Each of us has at least an admirer. Wuahahahaha… sure, me too. What do you think?
Of course, they saw my rings so I was still innocent. wuahahaha..
Tonight the time/clock changed, so the fun stopped at 3.30am (winter time). For those who haven’t changed their watches, it was 4.30am.
Hmmm… I have a new friend… I hope… Hopefully not a serial-killer.
Winter Time
Last night the clock moved backward, from 2.00am became 1.00am. And so the winter time starts.
The time difference between KL/KK and Amsterdam now is 7 hours and not 6 hours anymore.
The next time the time changes is in April, back to summer time.
It’s party time again
After a long ‘holiday’ from having parties, finally it’s time to do it again. I’m now still at work, waiting for my other colleague to finish her task and then we’re off to our Ladies Night. At the same time, my former colleagues will be having a drink at the O’sheas, the Irish Pub here in the city. So, I’m going to have a long day today… perhaps till tomorrow.
Have a safe Friday night everyone. I’m off now, it’s 8 minutes to 6.00pm in Rotterdam.
